Even in winter time, it was a pleasant feel (not really winter in European terms). Loved the seafood. Excellent.

Walking the beach is tough due to the coarse sand and steep surf break. It's also a bit of a chore to get to at the south end of Ilha Santa Catarina by car. Traffic on SC 406 can be quite congested on the island. There's a quiosque at Matadeiro and an elevated bridge to a small island with a nice Mirante.

This beach is a very clean beach.
The waves are not strong, thats why it is very good for children.
Restaurants nearby- we recommend the: Restaurante Adriana
The boats from the fishermen are near at the beach- this gives a beautiful view.
You can walk over some cliffs to get a better view of the coast.
There you can take also a boat which brings you to the island: Ilha do Campeche.
Parkings are nearby.
You can reach this beach even by bus.

this is a lovely town and beach with the added island accessible by a bridge. here you can get a boat trip to Isle of Campeche. the beach is quite busy in the summer but you can find little coves and rocky areas on the island across the bridge

Beautiful place, with kind of a trail that leads to rocks in a higher place, where there is a panoramic view of the beach. It is definitely worth the visit.

one of the big beaches in the southern part of the island. As all eastern Floripa beaches the water has an amazing color but is quite cold. Armacao has a small town centre with shops and restaurants, so it is a good option to spend the whole day

Visiting already over 40 countries in my life, I would call this place (together with a peninsula inside it called ponta das campanhas) probably having the most exciting views I have discovered ever. NOT TO BE MISSED!!!!!!

This is another great beach on the island of Santa Catarina. It has a vast spread of white sand. The little village of Armaçao has kept its old Portuguese heritage.

Nice, easygoing beach. Good with kids. Other side of the beach is more deep and sand is bigger. Other side, closer to beach Matador the sand is fine and water is better with kids. Beautiful. Crowded, but where it wouldnt be??
