The shows left their essence and became musical shows, some with exaggerated and dull comedy.
Nativitaten no longer has a history like in previous years. It was too still and just changing the singers. They saved too much on fireworks and the new location, unlike Lake Joaquina Rita Bier, does not offer the same experience, as it does not have walkways to provide more interactivity.
The Fantástica Fábrica de Natal also got much worse, despite continuing to operate at Expo Gramado. The story was very poor in inspiration and did not take advantage of prioritizing the sentimentality present in previous editions. It looked like a show from the yellow woodpecker farm, remix version, mixed with Christmas.
The new show (The Christmas Kingdom) surprised me positively, as this one had much more emotion than the others. I also thought the Christmas parade was better than the previous years I've participated in.
Anyway, I think they got the dose of musicals wrong and took too much of the emotion out of the events. For those who have watched it more than once before, it wasn't worth coming again. Money thrown away.
However, the Christmas Kingdom and the Christmas Parade are still excellent. I just don't recommend Nativitaten and the Fantastic Christmas Factory this year, 2023.
I hope they improve next year.

We went to the Nativitaten show. The show is pretty boring. There is a little bit of theater but it mainly consists of 4-6 singers who take turns singing Christmas carols. The singers aren't even the artists, in other words, it's not really a musical... the texts are very cliché, very weak. There are a lot of red lights and lights, which end up getting repetitive. We expected a little more theater, more musical.
The queue of cars to leave is disorganized and you have to wait a long time (at least 30-40 minutes) for an app driver because the organization gives preference to buses and private buses, and therefore it is very congested.
I do not recommend the event. The activities and presentations at the center, although sometimes a little weak, are always at least free.

I had watched Nativitaten about 5 years ago and the experience was very different from the one I had now in 2023.
I don't know if it was due to the rainy season, covers were placed over the stands (which is very valid), but the structure that was set up to support the cover generated absurd visual pollution, greatly hindering the visibility of the show! Many columns, iron bars and steel cables in front of spectators' seats. It was very difficult to watch (we had to bend over to be able to see details of the play) and it also made it very difficult to take photographs. A feather...
Honestly, if I had known it was like this, I wouldn't have gone.
The beauty of the presentation wouldn't be enough to make me come back.

I regret spending so much money on this show. Given the time, it doesn't even last 30 minutes, it could be an exhibition of what previous editions of Natal Luz were like with a small, free, open-air theater.
We even paid for parking at ExpoGramado...We only discovered the absurdity when we arrived.
The show has some emotion, but the context feels disjointed. The Santa Claus that my son went to meet him at the Show, with great expectations, appeared a few minutes at the end, stayed away from the public and my son ended up not even understanding what was happening.
It could have been a magical memory for a small child who still believes in Santa Claus, but it was a fiasco.
I don't recommend wasting time and money on this show. Too expensive for what it offers.

We watched Nativitaten…
Ok show, but I expected more…
Bad structure, stage far away, big screens almost only show the singers, the stands have speakers and an iron structure that obstruct the view.
As for the place, getting in and out was chaotic! Long queues and more than 1 hour of waiting to enter and then to exit.
For the price charged, it could be better.

Nativitaten show
- Moved to Serra Park. On a positive note, I believe the lake is smaller, which makes watching the show a little closer. As negative points, it is further away than Lake Joaquina, which is central, which makes entry and exit more difficult. They also added rain protection: this is also good and bad. Of course, on rainy days it's good, but it affects the view of the stage and the fireworks.
- It's a show in a lake, but they don't use the water for absolutely anything. There is no water ballet, moving boats, projection on the water like Disney shows, nothing. If it were on asphalt, it would be the same. I don't know what the lake is for...
- The show itself has beautiful projections of lights, sound and fireworks, telling the story of the birth of Jesus and with interpretations and several Christmas songs. Despite being boring at times, it presents other very beautiful moments.
In short, far from being something remarkable or exceptional. Go with lower expectations and enjoy.
I hope you read the comments posted here and review some things for the coming years. The idea itself is great and can be improved a lot.

Nativitaten
It is necessary to align expectations: it is a show with lyrical singers and fireworks practically outdoors and with poor infrastructure
From a practical point of view: parking costs 40 reais and you have to walk in a dark place to access the stands for the show
The show has a lot of fireworks, so you should prepare children, the elderly and people with specific needs for this. It's a show that scares little ones a lot.
The view of the show is impaired regardless of which stand you are in. In front of the structure there is like a railing, and depending on the step you are on, you have a beam in front of the stage.
There are no assigned seats, so it's a good idea to arrive early.
As for the show: it's expensive and not exciting. I confess that I didn't understand anything: there are biblical passages, lyrical singing, a Mary and a Joseph walking and then a Santa Claus appears and a Mariah Carey. It is important to align expectations.
It looks like the show has changed. Maybe before it was the best show, but today it's a beautiful runaway train.
Attention: bring a heavy coat, hat and gloves. Too windy!

We went to the show A FANTÁSTICA FÁBRICA DE NATAL and the experience was not great. We paid a lot, poor structure. There are two beams right in the middle of the structure that hinder visibility. The show has beautiful costumes, committed artists, but the story is very repetitive. It's not worth the investment.

I went to a show (Nativitaten, unless I'm mistaken about the name). Good show, but it was a rainy day. Organization a little bad. They made me go to another entrance, and then I realized that I could enter through a covered place. I saw the show all wet and left a little before it ended.

Second time at Natal Luz. The Christmas Parade is beautiful. The Fantastic Christmas Factory is truly fantastic. Wonderful production, the kids went crazy. Nativitaten is wonderful. It's worth every investment.

A arquibancada é tipo taboa de madeira, desconfortável? Pergunto porque somos duas octogenárias. Estou preocupada

Saberiam dizer se o show Illumination deste ano (2020/2021) será diferente do ano passado (2019/2020)? No site eles comentam que terão novas músicas, coreografias, fogos, etc.

Olá, alguém saberia dizer se o show Illumination deste ano (2020/2021) será diferente do ano passado (2019/2020)?

Qual setor (A, B, C...)?
