    Excellent tram ride
The tram was well organised on the day we were there, we bought tickets in advance and picked them up from the booth. The queue for the tram was not too long. There are some interesting information boards to read while you wait. The tram ride itself is part of the experience and has some great views en route. The wait for the tram back is a little longer, but wasn't too bad, although I can see this could be lengthy on really busy days.

    Nice ride through the trees
The ride was nice and since the weather was cloudy there were not many people in the line. You can see Jack fruits hanging on the trees. You should definitely take the trem, not the bus to go to the Christ the Redeemer. Due to a delay in our flight we arrived late, and we had to buy new tickets because they did not accept the ones we bought from the internet. You can buy the tickets on site.

    You Gotta Go!
You simply gotta go! There were no lines, but remember if you're paying with a card there is a self service machine that makes quick work of the process. Sit on the right side going up.for the best views. Once you finish with the astounding views I suggest walking back down to the departure level. I usually see of coati or two. They are so cute! I'd like to figure how to take the vans one way or the other through the forest. Don't bother going up if it's cloudy.

    Fun
We bought tickets in advance for the 8am train. It said to print out your ticket but I just showed it on my phone. Did ask for ID though. They put us on the 7:40am train which was good. Train wasn’t full. Sit on the right hand side for the best views, there are a couple of viewpoints.

The 4 tickets had the wrong QR code and were not accepted by the cashier. We had to buy new tickets. There was also no person to verify the tickets.

We did this trip on our first day in Rio and we're very glad we booked in advance. It's not necessary but as it was hot and busy it was helpful. Skip the line worked to avoid the tram queue but when were let onto the platform people were pushing and shoving to get on the tram, so queue jump wasn't of any value there.
Overall a great experience, lifts available if you have mobility issues.
Lots of crowds!

As soon as you get there you show the confirmation code to the attendants and they give you a wrist band which let's you skip the line going up. We went on a Thursday so it wasn't that busy. Although the top where the statue is at is very crowded. Don't think you can get a picture without a bunch of other people in it.

We had a Portuguese/English speaking tour guide who easily took my phone online voucher ticket which was connected to a time and changed it into voucher to get on the train. He took us to the line and sat us in the seats best to see the views which only a local or tour guide would know. 20 min beautiful train ride. You could wait in an elevator line or go up about 150 easy steps to the top. The statue took my breath away and so did the views. Inside was a small room where it looked like there was going to be some type of religious service. My only negative was way too hot and crowded. I was ready to go back down on the train which because of our guide got onto the train quickly and did not have to wait too much because he waited for us while we viewed everything.

If you plan on visiting Christ the Redeemer, I highly recommend purchasing the pass. The lines to purchase tickets were horrible. But, since we pre purchased, we went right up.

Convenient to get on the Tram first. The view was in the clouds - so try to check weather when you go. The good news is that they will honor it another day during the same week’s weekdays.

This site is a scam we could not redeem tickets nor get a refund.
We were forced to by another ticket there, thankfully it’s 1/4 the price at train.
Just got there, avoid scams like this!

Cut the line was great going up. Did not work coming down-waited in the long line that we thought we paid to cut-I guess we deserved it. A bit pricey. Unfortunately it clouded up and we could not see anything.
