We loved the beach in front of the Fasano. We had to lounge set up for laying in the sun together. The waves and sand were perfect for a dip in the ocean. Gorgeous! Abrigada

Although the two beaches are literally next to each other whilst I was in Rio the Ipanema Beach seemed to be cleaner and slightly less crowded then the more famous Copacabana. You have to go to both regardless.

Wonderful clean beach! White sands, blue water, packed with beach lovers! I was there on a Sunday and it was really full with people but well worth a stroll and a swim while visiting Rio.
