It’s a place the locals come and hang out. There wasn’t much happening when I was there. Worth a quick look.

The building that houses the cultural center is a jewel of architecture that dazzles any visitor besides offering several interesting and free exhibitions.

I think it's interesting that they've tried to give more of a young feel to this place. Movies and so much more going on there. Cool old building being repurposed.

Plan a visit to the CC Banco do Brazil, the Central Correo and the Casa França Brasil all together. They are lined up in the same street and the package makes the visit worthwhile.

Besides the venue itself, which is very elegant, we saw an exhibit on Africa. It was made of many suitcases, weird but original.

Gorgeous building, with fabulous architecture! Great for arts related progammes! There is also a traditinal bakery there that woth a visit!

i agree with all the answers above. it´s not safe. mainly on sunday. if you have no choice you can do it on a saturday morning because the shops stays open until 13:00hs.

Helo Berka, the Kandinsky exhibition finish at CCBB Rio de Janeiro in March 30 Th, i m note sure after CCBB RJ the exhibition will go to Brasília. Haverá a Good time!
