Among all famous gardens in Srinagar this one is the most beautiful and well maintained. Tall weeping willows and chinar trees greet you. A beautiful lake surrounded by green grass and trees and walking distance from taj dal lake makes it a convenient place to...More

We visited in winter so there weren't many flowers blooming. Still, the lush plants and greenery made it very enjoyable.

Pleasant few hours wandering around and enjoying the cool and calming gardens. Quick bus ride out from the city. Open from about 9.20am.

The gardens are lovely even in winter. We saw many new plant species, monkeys and birds as well. We visited June 15 and the restaurant was open and good. (there are vegetarian but not vegan options) Closed-toe walking shoes recommended for winter.

The Botanical Garden is a must go when you visit Rio de Janeiro. It is a very pleasure place for couples, families, friends, solo and at the end you can find its store which is nice to buy a souvenir.

This is a great half day activity. The gardens are fairly well maintained considering the age and size of the garden itself. Many old (kind of run-down) buildings certainly added to the effect. The gardens are vast and will take a few hours to walk...More

I agree that morning is best as it can get hot. There are picnic tables in the children's park, but those fill up quickly and people leave their stuff there to claim a table. You can't sit on the grass outside of the... More
