I went for the Tijuca 'Big Circuit' (Peaks & Waterfalls) in February. It was an amazing Hike that I've chosen to do with a friend. The experience was awesome. Our Guide, Tito was just great. He first introduced the area and gave us a sneak peek about the program of the day before giving us a quick history lecture about... More

Thiago brought me to 5 different favela trips, even if he did not personally know the favela he managed to arrange someone to meet us there and show around. Shouldnt go there by yourself with a camera... But at site you meet allot of exiciting people and scenerys. Been through Morro do Babilonia, Vidigal, Rocinha, Santa Marta and Complexo do... More

Had a lovely time hiking the "Big Circuit" route...gorgeous views of the city from the peak and various lookouts. Enjoyed the small group - Tito was our guide, and it was just three of us gals. Fun meeting the other two women who are from Portugal and Argentina. I really enjoyed learning about Brazil's history, which put into context how... More

We did the Big Circuit hike up to Tijuca peak. Our guide - Tito - was great. He was very experienced and told us a lot about Brazilian culture and history as well as different plant and animal species we encountered during the hike. The hike was one of the highlights of our trip to Brazil and we enjoyed it... More

We did the big curcuit hike to Tijuca peak. Tito was our very knowledgable guide. Our original trip (the adventure curcuit) was called off due to heavy rain the night before which was very disappointing but we respected the company for putting safety first. Anna was very helpful and flexible in getting us onto a hike whilst we were still... More

I had the pleasure to get a private tour with Thiago to Pico da Tijuca, as no other guests were booked on this day. The trip was an amazing and unique experience for a couple of reasons: - we had the opportunity to hike through completely untouched jungle for 5 hours, following trails that are well prepared but difficult to... We did this hike with Tito (who is a very very nice man.. knows loads about the forest and its surroundings) About 8hrs for the lot.. we had perfect weather for the walk, as it wasn't a super hot day.. amazing views at the top, with the chance to see some birds and animals on the way up.. Near the... More

I had booked the 8 hour Tijuca Adventure Circuit tour which is classified with a difficulty level of "hard". Maybe due to this I was the only one on the tour and therefore scored a private tour just for me. I've had an absolutely amazing day, learning a lot about the political history of Brazil from the colonialization until now,... More
