Have been here to buy some fresh shrimps and fish and have it cooked immediately. That was really amazing !!! Highly recommended.

After reading some reviews we decided to go there. The market is located a few blocks apart from the ferry station, during our way there we could find some small stores with cheap products, cheaper than in the Center of RJ. Anyway, the fish market isn't really big, but it has a lot of stalls with fresh fish, shrimps, octopus and so on.... do they have a fair price? I can't tell What I can say is that on the second floor there are few restaurants, we ate at Bar do Wagner (it was the one with more locals), and we had a very good lunch there at a fair price. Summarizing, if you are a tourist visiting Niteroi and want to have a good fish meal, do no hesitate and go there, you won't be dissapointed
