Parque das Aves is a conservation project in the Atlantic Rainforest near Foz do Iguassu, Brazil. We take in birds which have been rescued from animal trafficking or are for some reason no longer able to survive in the wild. We give them a home in their beautiful native rainforest. We love huge aviaries. We think birds should be able to fly, and have a great social life, and feed on the best, fresh, organic diet possible. We then breed a new generation of birds which are capable of being released back into the wild (and we have a number of projects that do exactly that.) We also support projects and research throughout Brazil. We plant thousands of trees a year, restoring degraded Atlantic Rainforest. The Parque das Aves thinks that education is one of our most important tasks. Sometimes it's as simple as giving people direct contact with these beautiful birds. It's amazing what that can do. We also educate thousands of local schoolchildren a year in special programs. Thank you for supporting Parque das Aves. We couldn't do it without you.

Well kept nice park. Was great for our young kids. Enjoyable for adults too. Need about 1.5 hours or 2 with small kids. OK Cafe. You can enter enclosure s and see toucans and macaws and othe birds close up. Butterfly house with humming birds too. Worth a visit before you visit foz iguacu park as it's next door.

What an amazing collection of birds from all over the world. With many, you even get up close and personal. There's even a quant snack/drink bar 1/2 way through. A little less crowded earlier in the day, and cooler too.

Something else to do after you see the falls. It's right across the street and even if you aren't into birds like myself, it's still pretty cool to see.

So enjoyed getting to see all of the great birds (although in captivity) that we didn't see in the wild!

I don't usually like to visit bio parks or zoos, but this one is a special one! The birds in here are very well treated and preserved. Most of them have been saved from trafficking and other illegal operations. Also, this park is a way of studying the way of helping nature with its flora and fauna that are damaged... More

Just at the entrance to the National Park, this bird park is a must see. The Toucan enclosure and the Hummingbird aviary are both excellent.

This bird park is just outside the entrance to the Iguacu Falls national park. We found the visit quite enchanting with a chance to see tropical birds up close and personal. Visitors are allowed to walk through some of the very large aviary enclosures. If you like birds don't miss it.

Fantastic place and by this I mean that birds are well taken care, thay have plenty of place for the bird to be free and happy. I have not see a single animal being miserable which is what I expect in an animal attraction, animals to be not stressed by their condition. Given these premises visitors are happy to enjoy...
