This is worth doing purely for the boat ride into the falls which is great fun. You will get very wet and have a memory that you will always remember. The rest of the “safari” could do with some improvement. On our tour, we kept...More

We took the ride part way and hiked part way. I don't recommend the hiking part for anyone that doesn't want to walk up and down on rocks, steps, pathways. Our guide spoke English, and was nice, but we ended up with people that didn't...More

We were hooked by the staff of macuco safari on the parking lot of Cataratas. Those guys are very persuasive (they are sticking you until you pay), to do macuco safari. Safari himself is ok (It’s just a promenade in an electric golf car with...More

we went on the Macuco boat trip in October. What a great adventure! You start at the edge of the jungle in a large jeep type vehicle which takes you to the river. On the way the guide points out different type of flora and...More

The company is really organized. You take an electric car through forest for about 2km to the first station. There are lockers were you can keep your belongings and a small shop for buying raincoats. From there, you take a small cable car to the...More

The Iguazu Falls are amazing!! The Macuco Safari was a blast! Word of caution...bring a change of clothes, and leave your shoes right at the departure deck....you will be soaked, but it was a blast! Would do it again in a flash!

Forget the ponchos and just wear your swimsuit. Bring a change of clothes. They have lockers to rent but our private guide, Nuxa, watched our gear for us. If you have a hat with a bill, wear it as it will help to shield your...More

The whole experience takes around 2 hours. A jeep ride through the forest. An optional wet or dry ride. Be prepared to get very wet. I don't want to spoil the surprise so take a plastic poncho. The ride takes about 25 minutes. Great fun

The boat ride is fun, but this is not a safari. What you get is a 10 min drive to the jungle and another 10-15 min walk to the forest. The boat ride is also very short. You get to the waterfall, get splashed and...More

Email them. We got Senior prices at the football stadium (showed passports) and at the fort in Rio were told the discount was for nationals only.

First of all, it's not really a trip. It's a boat ride along a short stretch of the river and then in and out under a couple of waterfalls. It's great fun, and getting soaking wet in the frigid water felt fabulous after a... More
