You have to get into the Park to be able to see the Falls. Good thing they give a good discount for Seniors.

take the path down to the waterfalls and enjoy the water shower. you will get wet, so make sure you have clothes to change and that you protect your camera

I found out 1) with US passport must still pay, and 2) it's a little less than before but still over $100 pp. Post-Olympics the charge is reinstated.

I suggest you take a bus from Foz to Asuncion. If think it's really better to go there. About hostels.... sorrry! I must've to recommend the Che Lagarto, because I know it's close to the center. But, I have no idea around... More
