Here is a park that is located practically in the center of downtown Foz do Iguaçu. The access to it is free and it is a good place to go take a walk and relax in the shade of the trees of this magnificent forest. The animals of this zoo are mainly birds and monkeys.

A quick walk through this zoo (across the street from the TTU bus terminal) will leave you wondering about the purpose of continuing to keep monkeys, birds and spotted cats in cages. In this case it seems unnecessarily cruel and antiquated. Entry appears to be free, as you can simply walk in through the turnstile.

This is a free zoo just next to the bus terminal. The enclosures are tiny and very old. It might be nice to see the animals but it's more important to consider their welfare. It is certainly disappointing and unethical to see big cats like the Jaguar kept in such small and unstimulating environments. Several of the birds and coatis... More

Clean, small, neat and tidy. And the unusual opportunity to watch a 3 year old Yaguarete , with its unique beauty. Congrats to the people that take care of this small great zoo.

This zoo had received fairly unflattering reviews in some of the guide books we'd read, so we went in with fairly low expectations. But we were all pleasantly surprised by this lovely little zoo, which is situated in beautiful tropical grounds. For a free attraction, I thought it had plenty to offer - such as around 15-20 different animal enclosures.... More

This is a sad little zoo next to the bus terminal. It is free and only takes under an hour to see what it has to offer. It is run down but the animals still deserve your attention. The star is the beautiful 2 year old jaguar. most of the other exhibits are birds and monkeys. They are interesting but... More

The zoo is adjacent (west) of the central bus station in Foz do Iguaçu. I walked over after returning to the city by bus. No entrance fee means little funds for upkeep and maintenance. Obviously a labor of love for the staff. If you remember zoos from the 1950s with animals in nearly bare cages then you have seen this... More

If you're in the area and want to spend some time just walking around then this zoo is a good place to go. Not a lot of animals. But they do seem well kept. Overall an ok place to go. There is no entrance fee.

Really nice little zoo. Not a great number of animals, but all look well cared for. Supporting zoos like this is the only way to improve their standard.
