I went there to have a small walk with a Curitiba friend. We walked for one hour in one direction and then returned for another hour. There are small bridges made of wood and beautiful native trees, such as the marvellous Araucaria. Curitiba means 'many araucarias'.

I've stayed in relatives who live very close to this park, so it was worthwhile takin the children out for a bike ride. I was very impressed with the extension of the green area as well as the wooden bridges. Lovely place. I just did not feel safe and more policemen around would be very welcome.

Lovely park, good groves of well-preserved vegetation. Extremely popular with the locals for Sunday leisure - has free of charge barbecue pits used by families on Sundays.

Curitiba has lots of green parks. This is another of the well cared parks in Curitiba. Good for a walk and to take kids.

It is a nice park to visit if you are around or if you want visit the Ucranian Church. There is much to do other than that.
