I wasn't very impressed. Gardens were not that beautiful and the main greenhouse is beautiful but it needs some maintenance. I recommend to walk around the park and see the local flora. It's funny to watch the fish swimming in the pond.

beside the (small) glasshouse, there is a mid-size garden with some ponds where turtles and fishes live... in an hour you have seen it all

This was our first stop on the tourism bus. It is a pretty park and fairly crowded on the Saturday we were there. There isn't a lot of things to do at this park, plus it has a sign that bans pretty much all activities...More

Modeled after European-style gardens, the Botanical Garden of Curitiba is a wonderful place to be close to nature in this busy city. The entrance to the gardens is surrounded by street vendors selling food and drink, but once you enter the gardens, you are in...More

It is a beautiful garden, for a pleasant walk with friends or family. It is free, I certainly recomment it.

Maybe too much expectations the day of the visit. The garden is well designed and is leading to the arboretum up the hill. As someone else said, it looks more like a park than a botanical garden. The arboretum doesn't seem to be maintained, finding...More

I really enjoy this place. It is not so good to go with dogs because the nicer party animals it isn't allowed. But it is really nice to do exercise, picnic, walk with kids, there is a place with some exposition. When the sensation garden...More

It is worth spending an afternoon in the botanical garden of curitiba. It has a good area for jogging and walking as well as a beautiful garden. Also interesting is the garden of sensations.

It's not that big. I would say 1 hour is enough. It part of a park so if you planning to walk around the park then of course allow more time.
