Most stunning detailed murals we have ever seen, some nearly a block long and many historic buildings. A few cute shops and a brewery. Ashland has several really nice lakeside parks too on Lake Superior, the largest freshwater lake in the world.

We spent a part of our afternoon, exploring the town, (I guess this is the point of the Murals) The quality of the work is amazing and it's really educational and fun to learn about the old days. Highly recommend

No charge for parking at the hotel and they do not give you a permit to park there when you check in. I am guessing that if you are not staying there you can park short term and be OK.
