You can't get anywhere in Ouro Preto without passing through Praça Tiradentes, probably by design. It has a good layout, pretty architecture, and great for people-watching.

You will definitely want to see this place, it is the centre of town, surrounded by beautiful buildings, shops, cafes, restaurants etc.

Nice square in this colonial town. Quaint cobbled streets run of it. During the carnaval, the main stage is situated here. Nice atmosphere troughout the day.

Beautiful place, nice proportions- very clean and European. Traffic slows down around the square which makes it possible to cross the street. Lots of shopping and stopping around
