This is one of the most original churches in Brasilia. It has a very interesting light effect with it's Windows, also the architecture is unique. It is a must see . Very close to main downtown areas and hotels. Really Worth the Trip.

It's another attraction in Brasília, actually, another church. The blue windows is the main attraction because it creates a great atmosphere inside the temple.

This building is a marvel. From the outside a simple cube only adorned with gothic arches. In the evening the sun shines through the stained glass windows from one side to the other. Modeled on the description of the dwelling place of God in Apocalypse 21 it has 12 doors four on three sides. Go in and the walls are... More

What a great surprise - unassuming building on the outside - stunning on the inside. Definitely a must see.

Easy access by car or public transportation. From the outside it looks just like a concrete box, but once inside it is a beautiful and peaceful blue dream, covered from floor to ceiling in windows of stained blue glass. At night it looks very different as the light from the immense Murano chandelier illuminates the whole church.

Like the Cathedral worth the effort to visit. A minimalist building outside with a surprising interior. We entered from a side door, which I recommend, entry via the main entrance might spoil the surprise. Main entrance should be viewed however. As with my review of the cathedral, this even with the cathedral don't make a trip to Brasilia worthwhile. The... More

The Santuário is a short walk from Brasilia's Eixo Monumental, and well worth a visit. You enter a world of lovely blue light illuminating the cavernous church from all four sides. Peaceful, quiet and serene, you walk around with your camera admiring the construction that can support a 2.5 ton crystal chandelier. The many thousands of squares of mostly blue... More

Located in the city centre, the Santuario Dom Bosco is another iconic spot that must be seen when you are in Brasilia. The Sanctuary is one of the most famous churches in Brasilia. It is a magical environment where even the most anxious visitor can relax and enjoy the different shades and variations of blue, especially in the afternoon. The... More
