This is the only beach in Vitoria which counts on restaurant service. BUT it is so crowded that was impossible to see the beach sand line. Also people through garbage in the sea and floor.
Although I had lunch a delicious pulp rice at Alemao Bar, it was a terrible experience.

We were staying at a hotel near by and decided to spend the day on the beach.
This beach is within walking distance and offers several places to eat within walking distance. The beach is pretty clean and they offer some bikes to rent.
Great place to see and be seen.

The Waters are not so good for a swin but this is the place we can find many restaurants and kiosks to eat and drink, also the shopping center is nearby.

The point is beatiful people and good food in Vitoria. Good swimming place, soft sands. Many bar and restaurants . Beautiful view and a lovely place to walk !

Lovely hidden place. Had a drink and gorgeous "pasteis" at midday at a local kiosk. Intended to go back in the evening but did not have the opportunity.

pollution in every way. visual, music sound very loud in each bar, every bar around with dirty restrroms, beach water also pulluted.try vila velha (not that great, but a little bit better.

porque se chama Curva da Jurema?

A palavra " JUREMA" vem do Tupi-Guarani e quer dizer: Ju= Significa espinho . Remá: significa ruim, arvore da família da "Acácia Jurema", cuja raízes os Pages faziam uma bebida alucinógena capaz de produzir sonhos adivinhatórios, muito usada nas regiões Norte e Nordeste pelos caboclos no culto chamado " Culto da Jurema".
Em Vitória ES a praia era frequentada nos anos 70 por Terreiros de Umbanda que praticavam a " Linha da Jurema", neste local era realizado o culto a " Jurema", entidade Espiritual dos Indígenas que habitavam estas terras pré-cabralinas. Daí ficou o nome " Curva da Jurema", isto faz parte da história de Vitória e do Espirito Santo. Espero que tenha respondido a altura,embora em poucas palavras.

A praia pode ser frequentada qualquer hora. No fim, à direita, tem vários bares e restaurantes. A água é calma e nem sempre limpa. Mas dá para frequentar.
