This museum offers a wide variety of exhibits related to the history of Zenica and the local area with a strong link to history of Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole.
Some of the exhibits we got to see are a rare treat for all history buffs (no, I won't tell you - visit yourself and you surely.wont wont be disappointed).
The location is easily accessible, suited for larger groups and the temporary exhibitions of local and regional artists rarely leaves room for complaint.
This museum is also a location where lots of workshops and seminars for young and old alike are taking place so, have to not this as one of the few museums I've seen which looks ahead as well as into the past.
Warmly recommended!

The Zenica City Museum has an archeology, ethnology and numismatic section together with a big archive that can be accessed for research. Some of its space is reserved for photography and art exhibitions so one can always find something interesting on the ground floor.
There are several interesting artifacts, one of them a camera that was used during the trial of Gavrilo Princip, the assassin of Austro-Hungarian Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie in Sarajevo which triggered the First World War in 1914.
They provide guided tours for groups that schedule in advance.
The price of admission is rather symbolic - 3 KM/1.5 EUR.
