The ride up is hair-raising. Fortunately, our trip was in the capable hands of a professional Albanian driver. At the top there are a few old guns, some walls, a patio and not much else for those looking for castles. The views though are stunning,...More

What an excellent viewpoint. We visited to see the sun set. On the top there is a restaurant which was closed when we were there, but what a wonderful place to eat and drink. Views to die for.

Over the Saranda town with 360° view, the castle is an amaising place for photos and beautiful sunsets. Very nice terrase and restaurant. You can see quite well the Corfu island, too.

No need for reservation - but have to say depends upon tourist traffic on the day. Suggest just go with it. Do not be lulled into agents pressing you to make reservation. Hope this helps
