When in Saranda these trips to Butrint are included as the town is nearby, take some good walking boots to wear on this trip. Some good views to be seen over the waterfront and high up on the terraces.

I really loved visiting this ancient Roman city. It is a really interesting site with lots of ruins of the buildings. We had an excellent guide.

We loved this place! Even in the cold it was amazing and had my young son fascinated. We wish we had more time to explore the whole area.

i enjoyed walking the paths and viewing the well preserved ruins. The paths not only followed the ruins but offered great views of water, hills and marshes. Easy to get to on a local bus from Sarande.
