The sand, the water and the nature is really heavenly. It can compete with the Maldives or the Caribbean shore but too many hotels, to many umbrellas and too many people. It is sad to see how people ruined everything.

Packed with tourists, sunbeds and umbrellas. Had to fight our way through to get to the water. The place itself is nice, but with all the people it is just not worth the visit. Instead, try one of the private beaches in Sarande. They are...More

If you want a man made sandy beach, packed with sun beds and umbrellas, well this is the place to go to! Of course if you try to look above all the umbrellas or pretend they're not there, it is a beautiful place. But the...More

Ksamil has lovely white beaches and they are mostly within walking distance. A small town with nothing much to do except beach and dining. We will go there again!

This Pearl is beautiful but ruined by concrete constructions and mass tourism. The water is still green and The views are still amazing.

Very very busy during july. But other wise pleasent town. Lots of restaurants and street vendors. Would come back when less busy.

Ksamil Village looks and feels like something straight out of the third world - half finished buildings everywhere, gravel streets, empty lots strewn with garbage and hectic traffic. While we stayed in a very nice spot (Vila Ester) it's highly unlikely we would ever return....More

Absolutely packed! Couldn't even have a swim without having to pay. All the beaches are private and request 8€ (lounge chair rental mandatory).

Stopped for lunch on my way from Butrint to Saranda. The village has become a real mess. Poor planning, poor traffic regulations, poor public transport, bars, hotels and restaurants occupying every stretch of land. No thanks, just a waste of time and space.

Yes I do!!! Ask for the restaurants GUVAT or KORALI... they are located next to each other and both offer private beach sections with amazing views of the clear sea in Ksamil!!! Goos luck and enjoy your visit in August!!!

You can also stay on the city beach. It's not sand, but little stones, but basically a good option for swimming and sun bathing. And it's close to the terminal.
