These apples are not for export to America. Although ordinary looking, their taste and juiciness are utterly fabulous. All of us on the bus were munching away, and exclaiming over their flavor.

Interesting if you like seeing huge orchards and be amazed at the range of things the humble apple can make! Mind you the apples here are huge and totally delicious .. they are cheap be European standards but cheaper still off site..

Hirosaki Apple park is a mix of history and modern culture placed in an apple orchard. The park is popular for picnics for local school children as well. You are able to pick from the orchard or buy apples in the small store.
