The castle is in the very center of the city and can easily be accessed by foot from the train station. The castle is surrounded with a nice park and there is also a nice shrine very near.

I spent an hour there and enjoyed it. Easily assessable by public transportation. The Castle is a must see.

The view was beautiful from the outside and the location was within walking distance from the city. Unfortunately I did not have time to come inside.

I love the place, it is full of history however for non Japanese speaker, you do not enjoy 100% because some of the area does not have any english but still recommend to visit.

Kokura castle is a reconstructed castle with a cool museum in it. You can explore the castle and IT IS AWESOME! you can try being a daimyo for a day there. It has some english explanation in it but needs more of it!

Beautifully planned n architecturally sound castle. Great historical background n one can just imagine the views back when it was first built back some 600 years ago. Smart!

Just a few minutes, (we stayed only half hour inside the building), watched a movie, knew some history about there.
