If you like eating, Mojiku is a good place to go. A lot of good food at the street, and you must try yaki-curry! Mojiku has banana man that you must take photo with. Moreover it is a quite harbour that you can relax yourself.

I took a break from my all day ferry rides and walked around the harbor area near the ferry pier. Very retro, very nicely maintained old buildings. Wish I had time for more walking around. Interesting places to shop and dine.

Refreshing to observe a revived sea port into a fresh tourist attraction with flair. Strangely European within the outskirts of Kyushu, nonetheless, a display of sea port scenery, buildings and cuisine. I look forward to additional development in the near future. We visited on a...More

I went there in the evening at around 1900 and a lot of shops or restaurants were off already. Also, the streets looked very artificial to me, as if they were just pretending for tourism. I would have skipped it.
