“The Deity May Lead You Toward Better Direction”

The deity enshrined at Sarutahiko Shrine is "Sarutahiko Oogami" who appears in every event and lead us to the best direction. The deity is described Japanese old historical documents such as 'Kojiki' and 'Nihon Shoki'. This Sarutahiko Shrine is the headquarters of many branches all over Japan.

“God for new beginning ”

Sarutahiko is a god of "Michihiraki", or opening a way. So, it is good to pray, when you want to begin to do something. Compared with Ise shrine, it is much smaller, but likewise it a quiet and refreshing place. This shrine is just between Ise Naigu and Kintetsu Isuzugawa station. If you don't like to walk, there is, of course, a bus stop nearby.
