We enjoyed this activity not for the scenery, but for seagulls. A flock of birds approached the boat for their feed. Feeding was really fun while kids screamed. Shorter course was enough, because a bag of feed was used up for about 20 minutes. A signboard says seagulls only come from December to February.

I took this 'cruise' in 1956 but my memory of it is quite clear. My friend and I shared the boat with a contingent of middle- and high-school teachers, none of whom spoke any English.
