This is a gardener's and photographer's and bird watcher's paradise! Simply amazing what 1 man can do planting over the course of 50 years! The garden paths meander through a rain garden (to filter run-off from the parking lot), past a duck pond where ducks and dragon flies and lily pads delight the viewer, down a double border, about 450 feet long, dropping down to Soos Creek, where 4 salmon runs happen in the late Fall. Can't forget to mention the enormous demonstration vegetable garden, where hundreds of pounds of fresh produce are donated to 2 Food Banks. Over 150 hardy fuchsias, magnolias, and roses lead into a stunning entry garden, reminiscent of years gone by with 100's of bulbs in the spring, roses, peonies and so much more. Trees, some quite rare, are a treat too. 150 Kalmia are the "signature" flower. Enjoy!

There is no charge for this, just donations if you wish. At first you may think as you pull up that this is a tiny botanical garden, this is deceptive as the garden runs deep and there is much to see. Great event to do and you could easily spend an hour to two

We found this botanical garden because we were in town for a funeral, and had five hours to kill before the event. My daughter looked on line and found this garden. It's the best thing we did in town. We got to walk around outside in good weather for about an hour and a half. There's a foot bridge built over a creek on top of a fallen log and lots of winding paths that make you feel like you're far from civilization. It was raining lightly, but because the paths were so covered in large oak leaves (we visited in November) it was never muddy. The best part was when we mentioned the place to relatives who lived nearby, no one had heard of it. Admission free, donations welcomed. The garden is someone's private property.

We were expecting a little garden and this place knocked our socks off! Gorgeous plantings maintained beautifully. We have recently been to England on a garden tour and Soos Creek Botanical Garden was nicer than some of the gardens we had traveled 5,000 miles to see. Wonderful, wonderful gardens!

Their hours are limited but it is worth a visit. There are several gardens to view. I enjoyed the vegetable garden. There is an area to view some birds. It is a nice place to go for a peaceful walk.

The Soos Creek Botanical Garden is a beautiful 22-acre garden that was purchased in the late 19th century. The admission is free with a donation box provided, if you wish. It is really a series of gardens connected by trails. You can reference a laminated self-guided tour map that is to be returned when you finish your visit. The gardens are created as “stroll gardens”, inspired by gardens in England and Japan. It is open Wednesday through Saturday from April until November. I highly recommend a visit.

Careful or you will miss the turn. Peaceful and decorative; good schedule of classes. Knowledgeable support staff/volunteers.

This is a most beautiful garden with lots of my family history present in the museum and gardens. A wonderful way to spend an afternoon walking the paths and enjoying the beautiful sights the garden has to offer!

Drive up to private property and stroll deep into the forrest and feast your eyes on a sea of colors and lovingly-cared for plants. Best of course in the spring and early summer.

This garden is a labor of LOVE. The curator is in love with the garden and it shows. It is a beautiful sanctuary in the midst of busy cities all around it. The people who run it are amazing and easy to get along and work with. The volunteers are almost invisible yet you know they have been there. The Garden is so beautiful and relaxing. You feel like you have not a care in the world when you visit because it just takes you away from all of your stress and worries while you are there.
