About
Veterans Memorial Park is distinctive for its Veterans Memorial structure, a contemplative mural that reflects the contribution of our armed forces, and some relics sprinkled throughout the park worthy of photo ops. There is also a play area.

Not necessarily a must-see, but it's certainly a great stop. It's not quite as clean as it could be (otherwise I'd put it at 4 stars), but it's certainly something worth stopping to see.
In some of the other reviews, people have mentioned the local homeless population. From what we saw, that is to some degree true, but they didn't exactly seem to be a danger to anyone or really even the property.

I like this park for the tribute to our veterans. Having said that, the city of Auburn needs to maintain this better and prevent the homeless population from over running and damaging this park.

This is small park but it is a nice tribute to our veterans. The park is well maintained and it was interesting to view the tank and missile on display. I will say to the people who scratched their name or initials into the tank they should consider how disrespectful that is and how it trivializes the service and tremendous sacrifices our veterans have made for us. That is just vandalism.

Not quite the "Veterans Memorial Park", but close enough to put this review here for the Armed Forces Pavilion and Community Garden. This location is definitely work an hour of your time to read each tribute message and study the artwork and admire the variety of plants and garden beds. Snuggled between the Auburn State Theater and the Veterans Hall, right across the street from free parking, and right in the center of historic downtown Auburn, this is a must see for any visitor to the town.

I used to take my children here many years ago when it was a nice place for them to play, unfortunately I cannot safely take my grandchildren here due to many homeless people living here
