It is my 70th Birthday. I and several friends went on a three hour cruise around Hat Island, Whidbey Island and part of Everett, WA . We saw many gray whales due to the diligence of the Captain. He would slowly follow the whales, at a safe distance to insure safety of the whales. He would talk about the history... More

Mystic Sea Charters in Freeland Washington does gray whale trips - we did one on Friday March 13, 2015 and it was the most fabulous trip I have been on. I especially loved the way the boat was set up - rain or sun its a great boat. Staff was excellent - and we did see gray whales feeding. Its... More

We had a lot of whale watching excursions to choose from and we chose Mystic Sea Charters because it left from Anacortes without having to catch the ferry, and I'm so glad we did! We had an excellent time! First of all, they have a person who flies over in a plane and spots the whales for them. So the... More

We were there on the last day of the regular season. The 1st of Oct. (Wed). I really did not know what to expect. Everyone back home in MO..said that it would probably rain all day and we would not see anything. Boy were they wrong!!!! The weather was absolutely perfect and we seen so many Orcas! We even spotted... More

Our whale watching trip from Anacortes was the highlight of the week we spent on Whidbey Island. We went on the Wednesday of the last week for tours in 2014. It couldn't have been a better experience. Mystic Sea only takes out 50-60 folks and there were only half that many on our trip. We were able to move around... More

I checked into a lot of charters. This one leaves from anacorte without having to take the ferry. If you book online you can save quite a bit. The crew was great. Informative and entertaining. We saw seals, sea lions, bald eagles, and of course so many different orcas. I would totally recommend this charter. Next time we visit the... More

My Mom and I were visiting my sister in Seattle and she lined up this whale watching trip. I've been on a couple other whale watchng excursions, but nothing like this one. We really liked that there was a smaller number of people on this boat since the really big boats can get really crowded and that makes it hard... More

My husband and I had a whale watching "date" while visiting relatives on Whidbey Island. It was a perfect day. Captain Monty was laid back and hospitable. The boat only takes up to 50, and when we got to the dock and saw the others with what looked like over a hundred packed in like sardines, we were really happy... More

We saw so many Orca whales, sea lions, seals, and also a bald eagle & nest today!! I even caught on camera a whale breaching. They were lively today, breached 2-3 times and were slapping their tail fins, even saw some hunting. Today was better than I had even hoped it would be, and thanks to the weather, the day... More

Took my special needs sister on a whale watch with Mystic Sea Charters. I called before to make sure they can accommodate a wheelchair. They came through with flying colors.Location easy to find. Check in smooth ,handicapped parking was right there, even if you don't have a handicapped sticker the parking is not far away. The crew took the wheelchair... More
