Such an upbeat, fun place with great beers and servers. We did flights and tried beers we usually would not try. Their smoked beer was like smoking a cigar while drinking a beer. The most unusual beer I've ever tried. All their IPAs are great. Really great place!

I went to Port City Brewing with a few of my friends who are transplants in Alexandria. The beers were very good and I liked the service and the quality. It was great to eat outdoors and socialize with other people. There was also a food truck which served Latino food. The food, the portions, and the prices of the food truck were very good, but the service was not my favorite.

Well , I’m never hard on a location but I must express my disappointment here. We were excited to go an enjoy a good flight of beer and an enjoyable evening inside the large , open brewery . Well. We were unable to get a flight , strike one. This evening was pretty chilly and there’s only outside seating . Strike two. The third strike was the fact a reservation was required to get a outside seat with a heater.
I realize that the virus has everyone scared but goodness gracious , what an awful experience. We are a year out from the start of the virus . If you want to require reservations at least have inside seating as an option in the cold temperatures.

Local brewery in Alexandria. Came here for a visit on a Monday with spouse and sister. We arrived at 3pm right as the outdoor patio opened up. It was empty when we arrived which was my preference. Ordering was contactless via QR code at table. Menu had some snacks but we only ordered beverages. I am a fan and loyal patron to this brewery so I usually like to try their seasonals and limited releases. There was an oktoberfest and a weizenbock ale, the Colossal 9, an anniversary special. Service was very prompt and polite. Would recommend and will be back.

The patio was a delight but I'll be sticking to pick-up until this crisis is better under control.

We took our dog to their dog Oktoberfest celebration and it was incredible. They had multiple food vendors, tons of staff and many different local dog organizations there to work with (even a Santa). It was clear that whoever put this together spent a lot of time on it and was engaged. The staff was friendly and the lines were very reasonable for the crowd...never waited more than a couple mins for a beer. Would absolutely come back!

Innovative and experimental beer on tap, friendly tasting room servers, and great tour guides, as well as a great build out of the space; I've never had a bad time there! Check out the Joggers and Lagers or Beer Yoga events, great for a midweek workout and refreshment!

Great venue and beer selections. We love craft beer and the pilsner, metro red and porter are our faves!

I regularly pop down to refill my ‘growler’, but this is the first time we stayed for a beer and food in house.
The welcome was, as always friendly with excellent services the beer, also as always, was excellent. Being a Brit in the US, Port City’s IPAs really help fill the ‘real ale void’ - Momentum and Integral are my favourites, but all their beers are great. The food van of the day was ‘The Frenchman’ and we shared a basket of his excellent, freshly cooked French Fries (he’s not French by the way 😂).
All in all a great way to while away Memorial Day afternoon. Great beer, great venue and great food van.

Was looking for a place to meet some friends who had just flown into DC. Expectations where not high, and PCB was suggested by a local couple living in the area.

What a gem. It opens 4pm in the afternoon. They serve about 12 different types of beers...and have 2-3 special beers on the go. Dark Mexican Larger was my favorite

6 flight taster of beers is $12. You get to pick the beers, or the staff can recommend. They did throw in a 7th taster on the house.

Staff are super friendly and attentive. Brewery starts tours after 6:30pm (free of charge). You can bring your own food to eat, or wait for the food truck that arrives at 5:30pm.

Lots of seating inside and outside. Very diverse group of visitors, family’s with kids, dog walkers and people finishing work for the day.

It’s 10min drive from the Alexandrea....grab and Uber it’s worth the trip.
