Sorry about the previous reviewers but I've been many times and have always received warm, courteous, southern hospitality. So much so I joined the wine club. It is a peaceful beautiful setting. Do come in the 'back' way off US 250 for less 'white knuckle'...More

Went to this winery with friends as we left Skyline Drive. The road to the winery is narrow with sharp, hairpin turns. However, we were rewarded with a lovely winery with spectacular views and good reds. A great place to spend a lazy afternoon.More

Thanks for joining us and your review! Yes, our roads are truly rural and the state-produced signage sends you the most adventurous way! For future reference if you are coming off of the Parkway or Skyline Drive, it's best to go down 250 east to...More

Horrible, absolutely horrible customer service. I can't say I write many reviews about businesses, but I could not pass up the opportunity to let others know about my experience. Unfortunately, we were turned down from service even before we got to the front door. There...More

We care very much about our customers’ experience here at AMV. Our focus is on providing an intimate environment for wine tasting and enjoyment. In our small space, that philosophy is in direct conflict with hosting large groups – whether tasting or enjoying wine. We...More

While I adore everything about Virginia wine, this place is horrific! Unbelievably rude. Totally against everything "Virginia" (Virginia is for lovers...right!?!?!) Hospitality and couth go a long way...and this place has absolutely none. I have never given a bad review to a Virginia winery (or...More

We had 6 couples that stopped into the Vineyard. The owner was waiting in the parking lot and rudely refused to even let us get out of the Limo. We were all in shock. So we went to Veritas Vineyard and they were wonderful. I...More

We had tuna salad on ice in our car for lunch somewhere after coming out of national park. So we spotted this vineyard. It is a narrow road to it but once there, nice, really nice. It is beautiful and they were nice. We tasted...More

Had a very pleasant tasting at Afton. The wine was decent, we decided not to purchase as we thought it was over priced. It is a beautiful place to sit outside and look at the mountains.

One of the best mountain views of all the vineyards in Central Virginia! The wines are excellent and the tasting room staff was very knowledgeable. Each time I visit, I cannot resist buying a glass or bottle and sitting on their patio overlooking the vines...More

Beautiful location, good wine, often fun music events. Plus there are literally dozens of other wineries, breweries, distilleries, cideries, etc. within a short radius. Also a couple of lovely B&Bs very nearby.

Stopped in after visiting Veritas. It was like another world! Such beautiful scenery, a quiet more personal tasting experience. They only had a few wines but they were all very good. I loved the Festa di Bacco and my husband loved the Cabernet Sauvignon. They...More
