Thinkery is an evolution of Austin Children's Museum. It's Austin's sparkling new home for "why" and "how." A place where science and families play side by side. Where people connect with ideas by doing, making and experiencing. It's a foundry for a new generation of innovators and creative problem solvers. And it's a heck of a good time.

The Thinkery has science activities that are fun kids, and an outdoor playscape. Our 7 year old granddaughter, though, really didn't get any good and challenging hands-on activities. Her parents have decided that, since they homeschool, a science class that's more on her level and...More

This is a nice place with many hands-on activities for young children. A lot of the activities are educational. The only bad thing is that it is always crowded.

My nephew is hooked on this place. We first came when he was 4 and he loved the water room and the kitchen/produce play space. He asked to go again at age 5 when his older sister wasn't there so he could have full control...More

Loved our visit to the Thinkery - easy parking and stimulation for everyone. Ended with a sleeping child which speaks for itself! Definitely recommend a visit with family.
