Clarksville is a National Historic District. West Lynn has a nursery, restaurants, shopping and an original soda fountain. It is a safe neighborhood to walk through and look at homes and parks.

Personally, I think Clarksville and SOCO are the two best locations for visitors to stay in Austin.
