We enjoyed hanging out in the water. The hike to the water was not bad. The rocks in the water were pretty slippery. Great place to spend some time.

Absolutely. I didn't any picnic tables, so you'll need a blanket. There are many great places to set up a picnic. No garbage cans, so you'll need to haul out.
