They have two areas. One area is a bit smaller, designed for kids age 2-5. Good for kids as long as they can walk. The other one for ages 5-12. (My just 4 year old had no problem running around that one.) That’s pretty cool...More

passed by on the way to the Zilker train...lots of whopping and hollering!!! happy kids, smiling moms enjoying a bit of a rest...the older boys enjoying the bridges over the train tracks and "cutting up" for the train passengers!!!

A good place to spend a few hours with your grandkids. This playground is set in a beautiful park and extra bonus is the train ride. We took 2 rides as the kids liked it so much. Just take water if you're there in summer.

Zilker Park itself is Austin's backyard! It is a great location for playing, picnicking, people watching...the park offers a wide variety of options for all ages. The playground is worth visiting several times. The imagination of a young park visitor will just run wild! Fun...More
