What a neat place. This place has all of the land records, deeds, and transactions of land in Texas. Also, many, many maps of Texas from before the Texas Revolution, to the time of the Republic and then on to state hood. The staff is great. You can look at items at no cost. A treasure trove of information.

Unless you're interested in old historical land records this may be a pass for you. But if you are this is a treasure house. The old original records in all their vellum beauty and available for viewing and copying ... at a somewhat large price. But for the historical minded a bargain!
