I played the Crenshaw course in April and it was in great shape. The staff was friendly and the greens were FAST! Great place to play and I will definitely be back.

Tee boxes, fairways and greens are all in good shape. To score you have to know where to land the ball on the greens. Very tricky putting if you play for the first time. Check out the deer and wild turkeys.

Barton Creek Lakeside in Spicewood, TX, has a beautiful course layout on Lake Travis but Omni does not adequately maintain the course and the club house facilities. The sand traps need work and the tee boxes are uneven. No marshall on course to speed play....More

The golf gentlemen handling the clubs lost my putter cover and I found it in the storage. They are not careful at all. We played with a company and only saw the drink carts once. Bad service.

This is a beautiful course in primo condition. Don't get fooled into thinking it is easy since the distances are short and GIR is not all that difficult. Getting it in the cup is a different story. These are some of the fastest and most...More

This course is challenging, but not too long (from the white tees). It's very scenic, and well maintained. The Fazio Canyons course is more spectacular, and tougher, but Crenshaw is very good, and has the advantage of being walking distance from the hotel.

First time at Barton Creek, the Crenshaw Course is tough - you'll have to not only hit the fairways but hit the fairways on the correct side or your ball will feed towards the rough everytime. Some of the fairways are slanted towards the creek...More

This is a beautiful course with all of the elevation changes you expect in the Hill Country. The course was in excellent condition. You can tell Ben Crenshaw loves to putt, because these greens are "TOUGH". they are difficult to read and you can have...More

Ben Crenshaw is a great player and designer. His putting prowess is known far and wide. This course is not long but has enormous greens that make putting a premium. Also, they break 6-ways from Sunday. Definitely a fun track.
