We walked through the SoCo area and popped in and out of its unique shops along the way. Great people watching and the wall art can't be beat (the iconic "I love you so much" sign is along this row). Great afternoon activity with lots...More

Was there with my 12 year old. We walked all of this area. Pleasant enough but can’t say super cool. We live in L.A. and certainly areas here like Venice Beach, Melrose Blvd, 3rd Street Promenade Santa Monica, Old Town Pasadena, seem more vibrant and...More

Lots of bars and restaurants along with a number of other gags along the way. Classics like The Continental Club & Allen's boots. Plus great restaurants like Perla's, Soco Cafe & Hopdoddy. Lots of shops & the ever fun Lucy's in Disguise with Diamonds-a costume...More

About 5-8 blocks long. Glad we parked in public parking which the restaurant validated but it was still $8. Interesting shops but only purchased a few items at Teosores. Had great ice cream at Science of Ice Cream food truck but not as exciting as...More

This is a good place to find good restaurants and specialty stores. It's a bit of an artsy place. Not someplace that I would recommend as a must do.

South Congress has a lot of fun, ecleclic shops and places to grab a snack. It spans for a good while, so you should definitely jump from strip to strip. The candy shop over there is great if you have a sweet tooth, and the...More

A wonderful walking activity about 4 -5 blocks long with cool shops selling local giftware (and of course, some typical imports), cool candy shops, clothing stores, restaurants and bars. If it's sunny expect lots of traffic, enjoy!

We stopped here multiple times while visiting Austin to eat and shop. The boutiques are high priced but offer hard to find, unique items. And the people are interesting too! There are open air vendors on the weekends selling home made items. It is safe...More

Everyone tells you to come here for the hipster experience, but was disappointed to see so many shops close between 5 and 6, since it is a tourist hot spot. By 7 everything, bar eateries, was closed. Expected more.
