This is a wonderful place to spend time, reading headstones and thinking about history, or just reflecting on life. It's beautifully laid out and perfectly maintained. Texas' version of Arlington.

Will go again - much to see and think about. Quiet and peaceful time alone in a scenic place. It can be a "teaching experience" without seemingly so. The markers and headstones bring out points of discussions and families can enjoy a time w/o cell...More

We just wandered by and, even though the gift shop was closed, we decided to see what could be seen. Nice statue for Steve Austin and some beautiful artwork in the gently sloping hills. It's not too big so it's easy to get around and...More

I have been here several times to see the graves of family. The number of famous Texans buried here is remarkable. Worth the time to see.

A few weeks ago I went on a group guided tour of the cemetery with a group from Cleburne. The cemetery is immaculately maintained, and many famous and not so famous Texans are buried here. I believe at least 10 are required for a group...More

Beautiful, well kept area of peace and tranquility. An area has been set aside for all Confederate soldiers who were killed in Civil war. Monument to 9/11 also interesting

We didn't have a lot of time here, as we arrived about 45 minutes before they were going to close, but its a beautiful cemetery with a lot of interesting people located in it. They have a nice 9/11 memorial and we enjoyed it.

Yes parking is available inside the cemetery but it gets crowded sometimes. Best to Park outside and walk in. Get to see more that way. Well worth the walk.
