Nice attraction... kind of weird because you're basically in a reservoir that they made into a park, but I recommend for sure.

It is a must see, must swim to appreciate. Great during the summer nice cool refreshing. However, if it has been raining a lot, might want to check to see if they are open. It is susceptible to the outside elements.
One of my very favorite places in Austin. Loved walking here for a quick swim in the evening. A great weekend spot to hangout and people watch. Highly recommend it for escaping the heat as well :o)
We are from Dallas. We went for a couple of hours. It was refreshing and fun to swim in a 'natural' swimming pool. Will come back!

The water was nice, cool year-round. I went on a Saturday and it was absolutely packed. You can't take food or coolers which sucks but also keeps away ants, etc.

We were fascinated by the history surrounding the Barton Springs Pool. Unfortunately when we arrived the lines were quite long to get in and we were on a schedule. Watching the swimmers and divers was alot of fun!
