The fisheries center offers a selection of live animals, a fishing 🎣 pond for all ages with equipment provided by the facility, and a museum of fishing history. We missed the tour of the actual fisheries which only occurs once daily. The water in my...More

Cool facility. It was not very expensive and with the 1/2 off using my state park pass it was a great deal. The kids loved the fee fishing in the stocked pond. We caught 4 catch and release. The gentleman helping in the fishing are...More

This is a good place to take the family. I've fished all my life and still learned a lot. Educational for all ages. Be sure to watch the dive and take the tram tour. Good half day or all day adventure.

Started with a short tour bus that gives a quick overview that was neat. I recommend at the designated point, you take the nature walk back. (Wish the bees were there that day but they were not for some reason.) We missed the scuba "dive"...More

See and learn about the Freshwater ecology, fish hatching and rearing, and even fish. Trout are stocked in ponds during winter months (Jan-Mar) and bass panfish and catfish are catchable year round. Here are a couple of bass I caught in March.
