I found out about this place from the Hurried Hostess blog. My boyfriend loves classic cars, so this was a no-brainer. We had a late start on our drive from North Dallas and arrived just an hour before closing. We learned they only accepted cash for the $10 entrance fee (one star off). I left my boyfriend to start browsing and visited an ATM at the grocery store just down the road.
Upon my return, a guide walked us through the showroom and answered questions about the vehicles. You're encouraged to take photos, but not to touch. After some time, another guide met and walked us over to another showroom/warehouse. Here were even MORE shiny, restored vehicles. Including one owned by Bob Seeger. We got a lot of good pictures even in our <1hr visit. Just bring cash!

Awesome place to view cars from the 1930’s - 1960’s!!!!
All are in beautiful restored condition with a few original condition. Includes Oldsmobile, Pontiac, Cadillac, Lincoln, Ford & Chevy. With a few oddballs thrown in.
If you love cars you absolutely have to make this part of your itinerary.
Be prepared for getting right up close and personal with each car as they are packed in here nose to tail.
When we asked how many there are in the collection we were told 105 but they have to sell at least 6 every year to maintain their dealer license so the collection does change some.
A true gem in Amarillo.

We stopped here because my son loves classic cars and I though he would get a kick out of seeing some. First off, if you have Mark as your guide, he is amazing. He taught us so much, had a great sense of humor and showed us things such as hidden gas tanks and removable radios. There are some rare cars and lots of more common classic cars. They are all in great shape and are started up mostly to keep them in tip top condition. The two warehouses they are housed in are too small, so you do have to weave your way between cars, but it is still an awesome experience. We never thought we would be there for 2.5 hours, but there was just so much to see and learn.

A must for any car lover, even Deb loved looking at the cars and visitin' with our guide.
You can get up close to some interesting and rare US cars, mainly 50' and 60's. Unfortunately, Bill passed away last month but you can still appreciate his passion for cars.
We spent a couple of hours there, visitin' with our helpful and informative guide. I am so sorry I forgot his name. Well worth the visit.

There are lots of beautifully restored primarily 50's and 60's American cars, mostly GM cars. They are in the space bumper to bumper, so you are limited in what you can see. Gentlemen who worked there accompanied us on the whole adventure, supplying a lot of information.

It's a beautiful collection of classic cars where some have been modified. The two tour guides were very helpful in pointing our various fun facts about some of the cars.
Well worth the time to stop if you like cars. Be aware they only accept cash.

A must try if you like classic tours. The guide did not give us his name but he gave us a great tour with personal references throughout. It was his experiences and knowledge of the vehicles that really made this trip.

Every building is filled with gorgeous classic cars and trucks. It cost a bit to go through, but well worth it. The unofficial tour is very informative. The staff really like their job and enjoy telling many details.

If you enjoy classic cars, this is worth the visit. The collector had lots of Cadillacs if that's your thing. All are beautifully maintained. A little crowded for floor space since they have so many. The guide who accompanied us was knowledgeable and friendly. We really had fun looking at these cars from years past.

We saw a flyer about this museum when we were in Amarillo and decided to pay it a visit. It's a private car museum and it's located in two buildings. We had a guided tour by the grand son of the owner. He told us quite a lot about the cars. It was a pity the cars are placed so tight so it's difficult to look at all of them properly. The owner buys more and more and when we were there he had over 100 classic cars there. There were even some hot rods. There is no entrance fee but a donation is appreciated and goes toc charity for children.
