    Unique museum !
What a nice museum with some very well done displays of many vintage RV’s. You could even step inside to get a feel for what it really felt like to travel in them. They also had some nice cars and motor cycles to see. The volunteer there was very nice and helpful. I am glad we found the place! Follow the signs and flags and you will find it!

    Fun Times Down Memory Lane
Great little museum…and it’s Free! There are some interesting original and older RV’s in there. In fact, there are a few “oldies” that seem to be making a comeback…the Teardrops and back lift up kitchens. Most are all original or restored to original condition. They even have the motorhome used in the movie “RV.” For car and motorcycle buffs, there are some of these to see. Lots of memorabilia scattered throughout. Fun way to spend and extra hour or two!

Blast from the Past RV Edition
We are new RV owners and this museum was a perfect stop for us to explore our new pass time. Set up was perfect and included so many unique surprises on the inside of each RV. Best of all, it's FREE!

Hard to find - but interesting
This was very hard to find - appears to be in an industrial, fenced property. But large sign on road said "museum." So we turned and kept looking - small building on right with waving "open" banner. Great private collection. No ac but fans around to move air. No charge and friendly fellow welcomed us.

As of January 24, 2021 the museum is closed due to Covid-19. According to the owner/manager people weren't wearing mask and following covid safety protocols, therefore for safety reasons they closed the museum. However you can shop for a new 5th wheel.

This place was a great experience to learn, see and explore about the RV culture. The museum has several very unique Recreational Vehicles since the 1930’s, as well as a good collection of racing cars and Harley Davidson motorcycles. To enter the museum is free, but donations are welcome.

This is the BEST RV & Travel museum I've seen. You can even touch & enter many of the old units to see how they felt in the earlier RV days. It's surprising how much has stayed the same throughout the years except for the materials.
The old garage setup brought back many memories & you can't bypass the wonderful motorcycles & classic cars. Plan to spend at least 2-3 hours to truly appreciate this unexpected gem.
My wife & I visited in Oct. of 2019 & at the time it was FREE!!

Took my friend from Las Vegas to the RV museum. The staff was so friendly and seemed really happy we were there! Even if you're not a rec vehicle enthusiast, you'll find some interesting history there. It took us a little over an hour to see it all but I bet we could've spent more time there. Overall had a great experience!

Very interesting museum! Love that they let you into the old RV's and touch/interact with a lot of the things inside them. Museum was free and worth an hour or so. You can tell that the family is really passionate about this collection.

Google showed that the museum was open, but when we drove to the location the dealership and museum seemed to be closed. We called the number and were sent to voicemail. There was a small sign in one of the windows signifying that this was indeed the museum, but no large sign as seen in the photos and all the blinds were drawn. We drove about 20 minutes to get there, so I just want to save other travelers the trouble if it is closed. Call before you go to be sure.

This museum is in a new location on I-27 and it kind of hard to find. When we got there, a gentleman in a red t-shirt was outside waving to let people know where the museum was. There is no sign (as of yet) letting you know the museum is even there. One showroom had the RVs in it that you could go inside, the other had a pace car Corvette, motorcycles, and race cars. Admission is free.

I heard the RV museum was one of the best things to do in Amarillo, and it did not disappoint. The RVs are beautifully displayed and the collection of RVs and motorbikes is amazing. Even if you don't know anything about RVs, this museum is worth it to visit. The entrance is free and they allowed me to bring my dog in.

This museum is no longer behind the RV dealership. It is in a warehouse that shares space with a Motorsports Museum. The hours are somewhat limited - Thursday through Saturday 10 - 3. Also know this warehouse is not air conditioned (they have a recently installed swamp cooler). It is nice they still allow you to enter most of the vintage RVs. It is difficult to find, and when you get there, not much signage to help you know you are there.

I was really upset when we drove with the kids to see the museum only to be told its closed due to Covid. The website says they are open. The showroom floor, RV store/lot, and Camping store are all open. I assume because they are money makers and the museum is not. Either way we were so disappointed. It was the one thing we were really looking forward to seeing the most during our trip. The website should indicate that while everything else is open, the museum is closed.
