It's a small zoo but the price was great, We saw most of the animals despite it being cold and windy. A nice quick thing to do in Amarillo.

This place was sad. The only thing that I had going for it was that it was cheap. There are only a handful of animals there to begin with. It seemed as if half of the animals were not even in a viewing area due...More

While the Amarillo Zoo is smaller than many zoo's you may have visited in the larger cities, it is none-the-less a nice place for kids and parent to visit. I have been there 2-3 times with my granddaughters and they enjoy it every time.

Glad you had a nice visit. Our male lion is pretty vocal in the morning hours and is a big hit with visitors. Glad you got a chance to see our badger too!

It has been a few years since we've been to the Amarillo Zoo. The animals are well cared for, and the areas added for educating youngsters of all ages is impressive.

The Amarillo Zoo is very small, but always a fun experience for our Grandchildren. Nice walking paths, play areas, and a good variety of animals. The staff are always friendly and keep the zoo clean and safe. Their holiday events are always our favorite.

It is a very nice, well maintained zoo. It is not huge so a person can take their time to see all the animals. It is very well maintained and a nice experience.

For a small do it was great. Worth the money! We went on a Friday afternoon and it was not busy at all.

It was rather cool for a September afternoon so some of the animals weren't out. Still, it was a very enjoyable day.

Thank you for sharing your experience with us! We're sorry you missed some of the animals- we know the weather in the Texas panhandle can be unpredictable!
