This has become a very big enterprise, but the view is still beautiful and the atmosphere is still comfortable. It can get very crowded. The wines are okay, but they do generally have at least one wine from grapes grown in Tennessee. The "tasting" is impersonal, so you're better off getting a glass on a nice day and enjoying the view.

We tried dry reds - they were good esp cab & antebellum red. Owners - big stars! - provide more than 3 little crackers to cleanse palate. Owners - big stars - hang oscillating fans in sitting areas - similar to those places at Liepers fork distillery. Makes a huge difference - keeps air moving. Important during hot, humid summer. Shuttles were appreciated. Kind employees.

Our latest of many visits to Arrington a few weeks ago. We did the wine tasting this time as two in our party had never done it. Super fun and informative. Sat outside and listened to music and enjoyed this beautiful charcuterie board.
A bit of information if you go…and the only and HUGE downfall was that the very unfriendly/rude lady in the red shirt manning the parking lot would not let us drive up to get the 2 cases of wine we bought. My boyfriend had to carry both down the hill at one time to the parking lot….didn’t find this out until he had walked all the way down to the hill to the car…then had to walk all the way back up AGAIN. We would have bought another case, but nobody else in our party was able to lift it. Really poor guest relations and business practice. Made an otherwise great afternoon a frustrating one. Will not be buying that many bottles the next time. If you do buy, be prepared to haul your cases to the car.

They seem to close early because of rain frequently.
We drove 45 minutes to get there today, arrived at 2:30 and was told they were closing at 3 o’clock because of a storm coming in and would not even serve us. At 2:50 they posted on Facebook that they’d be closing at three.

You can't choose the wines you would like to try- and at a price of $17 for 4 samples of wine I would have preferred to select my own. I chose the option of whites and my friend chose the reds so we could try more varieties. We only liked 3 of the 8.
The place itself is very pretty, ample parking and seating. On weekends they have live music. Overall, it was just "ok".

It has a great vibe about the whole place! Relax and have a picnic while enjoying a nice bottle of wine. They had live music there also. Plenty of tables also great grassy slope to play out a blanket to just relax and enjoy!

I found the location to be spectacular. The space inviting and memorable! I did not like not being able to choose my four tastings in my flight. I purchased the semi sweet and only really enjoyed two. It is a bit pricier than other wineries but I suppose the location lends itself to the cost. It is really lovely. Worth a stop. I can imagine the live entertainment on the hill with a crowd is absolutely unforgettable.

We visited in a food truck Friday. The bands were playing. There were many options for delicious food. The wine was very good. The ambiance was so great. It was just a wonderful time. We were sad that our time got cut short by a storm that rolled in. Would go back every Friday if we lived there.

Planning in visiting Arrington Vineyards in early October and looking forward to it. Wanted to know how they run their wine tasting? Do you have to make a reservation or is it first come first serve? What are the wine flights that they offer?

I will be visiting Arrington Vineyards next month and am really looking forward to it. I will be in TN for a few days and am hoping to visit some other vineyards/wineries in the area on other days. Are there others in the area that you would recommend visiting while on a trip to Arrington? Thank you! :)

Sorry that I can’t help you not being familiar with the area... I know there are more wineries but Arrington is supposedly the best. Our main purpose for being in the area was to visit Nashville and The District —that was pretty cool.
Do Brooks and Dunn have a concert there

Do you mean like scheduled? I would contact the winery instead of a social site like this.

Hello. Does anyone have a rough idea of how much a cab/taxi would be from Capitol Hotel (5 min walk from broadway) to the vineyard? In $ preferably. We’ve hired a car for our holiday but of course won’t be able to drink any wine if we drive here. Thank you!

There are taxi fare finders online. Looks like roughly $61 one way. I would use An app called Lyft. It is less expensive. But, keep in mind this is a remote area. It took our Lyft about 20 minutes to get to us from Franklin,TN - about the same distance as your hotel.

Yes, it was raining when we went. There are plenty of indoor areas as well.
Do they ever perform there

Yes they do. My son lives in the Nashville area and has seen them. I believe they do a benefit for a children’s hospital.
There are other concerts there as well.

We look forward to having you. We recommend either a rental car or contact a car service. Grand Avenue is a good one in town.
Cheers!
