We are Anderson locals and stopped by on a date night after wanting to stop by for a long time. After being to several other moonshine distilleries, Palmetto was right on par or better than some of the bigger named distilleries you see. The tour...More

We were the only ones there that day. Nothing was going on but yet they took us on a tour of the place. Tour was free but they had tasting that you paid for. Best day when they distill whiskey is normally on Thursday.

We enjoyed the experience of touring the process of making the moonshine and really enjoyed the samples. There is one thing we did not agree with. If you buy the moonshine a retail store it is not the same price if you buy it there....More

If in the area should stop by this place if you like whiskey or moonshine. The tour was informative of the moonshine process. The tour is free tastings are $5 for 9 samples. My favorite was the apple pie and blackberry. Prices are fair.

Nothing like local distillers. Man this stuff is great. Laid back owners who love what they do. Pretty cool little drop by whenever you are in the area.

This was a fun place with goats living on a balcony, fun gift shop and some kick butt moonshine but, sadly, they have gone out of business. Glad I still have a little bit in my freezer!
