You don't need to head to England to experience the genius of a Shakespearean play. Much closer to home is the Oregon Shakespeare Festival located in Ashland, Oregon. Every year at the end of October you can enjoy on average over ten of Shakespeare's plays performed in both classic and newly imagined style. Separate tickets are needed for each show which is held at one of the event campus's two indoor or one outdoor spaces.

Been to OSF a number of times, never a dull performance, never a dull moment. Definitely an NPR style crowd, so don't expect anything too lively except the actors.

One of the great attractions of this picturesque town. Lot of plays to choose from. The price can be high but it is well worth it.

OSF continues to produce incredible plays that are refreshing, interesting and, in many cases, taking a new and fresh twist.
