If these trees could talk...!!! Several generations of local families have gathered here for family reunions and graduation parties! This park is always a great place for the youngest kids to the young at heart!!!

Lake Shore Park is clean and beautiful. From a guarded beach, playground, food shack, picnic pavilions to my favorite right now, the Duck Pond. The swans have two little grey babies just like in the story "the Ugly Duckling." There are also cute fluffy yellow ducklings and baby Canadian geese. On Sunday nights there is a car show. It is... This is a lovely park where in the summer you can go swimming, have picnics in the pavillions, there's a playground for children, who can also feed the ducks and swans and after Thanksgiving there's Lights on the Lake which is absolutely beautiful.

Lake Shore Park was a favorite of my family as we were growing up. We would go sled riding down the big hills in the winter and ice skate as well on one particular pond. I know you can still sled ride and every Christmas, the park has a huge drive-through-the-park light display called Lights on the Lake. The cost... More

We are here several times a year whether it's feeding the ducks, geese and swan at the duck pond, walking up to see the peacocks or having a family picnic. We have our family reunions here, there is lots of parking. They have 5 pavillions, also various picnic tables set up around the park to enjoy eating or just sitting... More

Imagine the only park in the area doesn't allow dogs, even on a leash. Maybe the managers should also think about cleaning some of the goose droppings that cover the place. It's a disgrace as a park!!!
