My husband and I visited the museum on their free Thursday promotion. The art was beautiful and beautifully displayed. A must see if you have a chance. Good for people of all ages.

Very solid permanent collection/exhibit. Very interesting/innovative special exhibits. Easy to see everything in 1 visit. Parking very convenient across the street. Nice light lunch available with wine and beer.

A small but locally beloved art museum. Worth seeing several times a year. They offer a free family night every Thursday. Support the arts!

I have visited this museum many times and have always seen something new. They have visiting exhibits and in the summer free admission on Thursdays. Great for a rainy day or scolding hot day! Your visit can be as long as you wish. Go though quickly or read everything. Perfect for everyone.

My family and I enjoyed this small but fantastic museum. They have a wonderful mix of old and new pieces while also displaying many different mediums. The structure itself is a work of art. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves expressive art.

I love art, so if there is an art museum wherever I'm visiting then I'm make it a mission to stop by. The building is beautiful and feels like part of the exhibit. They have an impressive range of modern, contemporary, and installation art. Though one may not think of Akron when considering artistic destinations, their exhibits were intriguing, fun,... More

While the collection is small it is rich, representing many turn of the century artists. The smaller gallery to the left greets you with a huge Sol Lewit geometrical piece. It was painted on the wall by local artists. The galleries upstairs are largely represented by modern art. A smaller gallery holds photographs celebrating our National Parks. Don't miss it.

I can't believe it took me so many years to visit this museum. It is relatively small and reflects the tastes of relatively few donors. There an old wing that is largely from the early 20the century and includes artists with some connection to NE Ohio. The larger newer wing includes temporary exhibitions and contemporary pieces that vary in quality... More
